"Eid Mubarak" - - - Festival of Fast-Breaking

Eid is some what like New Year for the Islamic community. It is the celebration at the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting.

It turned out to be quite exciting as we were invited to two different Eid parties at the same time, and since I didn't have the numbers saved in my phone I agreed to both as I thought they were the same person.

Only when we finally arrived and got a call from the other person that was waiting for us, did I realize my mistake. I was between laughter and tears on our long drive back to our original place of destination. We spent about three hours driving around, trying to find their home and only two hours celebrating with them, but it was fun!

Living here I find there are so many more festivals, celebrations and new years, you're welcome to come and enjoy them with me!
