On the wall of a castle in Scoltand!

Another restored castle that we found along the way.

Climbing the highest mountian in Scotland!

My dad, my brother and I were able to take a 10 day trip together in Scotland. On this trip, besides visiting Hadriens wall, Lock Ness, and visiting several castles, we were also able to climb 'Ben Nevis' which is 4,406ft (1,344m) high.

As you can see, it is cold, misty and almost snowy at the top, even though it's the 26th of July. That is why my dad and I are all bundled up!
It took six and a half hours for us to make it up to the top, I wasn't sure if my dad would make it up to the top as he is 59 years old.
On the way down we took a "short cut" down the steepest part of the mountain, almost sliding down with the rocks for an hour.
But we are still in one piece! TYJ!

On the air in Scotland!

In Glasgow we stopped to visit a friend whom my dad had taken some humanitarian aid to Ukraine for, a few years ago. He is presently helping to run a radio show and invited us to do an interview on the air, asking questions about Tanzania and the work that we do.

Even though we were tired because it was late and we had been driving all day, it went well. I was a little nervous, as I have not been on the radio before, but God gave me the words to say, and now I have one more thing to add on my list of experiences.

It was fun!
